Launched back in 2002, the Ford Focus ST170 was a limited edition model tuned by Cosworth featuring everything a hot hatchback needs – 17in alloy wheels, 300mm brakes, Recaro interior and even an optional subwoofer in the boot!
This 170bhp 2.0-litre model would be the basis for the potent Focus RS, and signaled Ford’s return to building quality hot hatchbacks.
With the ST170 being a limited edition model, fewer performance parts are available and thanks to the highly tuned Cosworth engine replacement parts are also significantly more expensive than the standard Focus model.
