These customisable mini BMXs from Rocker have become a genuine must-have over the summer. So much so that we can’t remember a show where we haven’t been cut up by some skinny extreme-sports fanatic (Or just a fat Midge – Jules) jumping about on one shouting “cowabunga man” or some other such bollocks.
They may be tiny, but they’re certainly not just for kids. No, these will take all the abuse any adult can dish out and Rocker currently have a load of different versions up for sale, with entry-level options starting at just 139 quid a pop.
So what’s this particular blinged-out item all about? Well, this new addition to the line-up is their fastest-rolling Rocker yet, the top-of-the-range 3+ Joker.
Due to arrive this month, it’s billed as ‘not for beginners’ and includes a whole load of professional-sounding features including reduced fork clearance, tapered stays and a patented JT Coaster, which we gather is a pro device that makes it easier to ‘fakie’ while rolling backwards. We’re guessing that’s just as bonkers as it sounds.
Still, what with that lightweight blue neo-chrome frame and big, chunky tyres, it looks pretty damn nutty too. What’s more, there’s no bike rack needed here, people. Just slap one in your boot and we’ll see you at TRAX, duuuude!
