We’ve gotta say this XT206R from supremely popular American drift specialists, Cosmis Racing USA, has to be one of the sexiest rims we’ve seen for a long, long time.
And now the team at Tarmac Sportz have become official UK distributors, we’re praying we see plenty of these monsters on the street over here.
We love the sweet motorsport style and we love the range of finishes (check out the website for more on those). And we seriously love the fact that, unlike most from across the pond, they’re priced pretty damn reasonably. They actually look better than many of the ‘grand-apiece’ rims out there.
Of course, there is the small problem that they’re mostly aimed at Japanese sideways weapons and that’s PR blurb for ‘only available in low offsets and a 5×114.3 PCD’ but then again that’s exactly what they make spigot rings and wobble-bolts for, right?
The whopping 9.5 and 11×18-inch sizes may put some people off, but we truly believe that sometime soon, someone will have the balls to bang ‘em on one of the bigger continental cruisers, and then angels will fall, world peace will be assured and Planet Earth will be a much nicer place to live. Remember people, that someone could be you! Please don’t make us beg.
