Fast Car Entertainment’s Silverstone-based events Japfest, Ford Fair and TRAX are under threat due to anti-social driving before and after the shows.

While 2021 saw a welcomed return to Silverstone for Fast Car Entertainment’s show roster with a record number of attendees and display cars after a year out in 2020 due to restrictions, it also saw a rise in the number of anti-social driving cases, with locals from the surroudning villages flooding the circuit with reports and complaints of modified car owners performing burnouts, revving engines (pop and bang maps make this far worse) and racing.

The message from Silverstone is clear, if the number of anti-social driving reports continue into the 2022 events, Silverstone will close its doors to Fast Car Entertainment’s events Japfest, Ford Fair and TRAX, meaning modified car owners will no longer be welcome at Silverstone.

The message from Fast Car Entertainment is just as clear, we urge all of our attendees to drive responsibly and safely to and from not only our events, but any car show you attend in the future. Not only will this mean that you arrive at our events without a section 59, but it will also mean that you can continue attending these events as each year the FCE events team work hard at making the shows bigger and better.

Here’s a little video from a big voice in the modified car community, Helen Stanley, on good event etiquette. Drive a cool car, but don’t drive like a d***.
