JRM, has just unveiled its 2014 Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 car at the Autosport International Show at Birmingham NEC.
The new machine is an evolution of the successful 2013-specification GT-R that won the PRO-AM drivers’ and teams’ championship titles in the fiercely-competitive Blancpain Endurance Series last season.
It complies with the FIA’s GT3 regulations and is therefore eligible for most of the international and domestic sports car championships around the world.
JRM, assigned by Nissan Motorsports International (NISMO) to assist in the development, test and build programmes for the Japanese marque’s official GT3 programme in 2011, has delivered a raft of performance-enhancing developments with the 2014-specification GT-R.
The 3.8-litre, V6, twin turbocharged car features new hubs and wheel locking nuts that improve pit stop times by five seconds, Rays wheels to suit the latest hubs, a re-located air jack point on the front wing to ease pit stop efficiency, a front radiator blanking kit, and a redesigned fuel delivery system that improves pit stop filling times by four per cent.
