Hennessey Performance has turned its hand to the McLaren 765LT boosting its power to 1000hp for a cool $25,000.
If you thought the McLaren 765LT wasn’t quite powerful enough at 765hp, well you apparently were not alone. Famous American tuners Hennessey has turned its attention to the 765LT and upped the power by over 200hp, dropping its 0-60mph sprint time to just 2.1 seconds and taking its power north of that of the mighty McLaren P1.
The HPE1000 package consists of new high-flow air filters, an ECU tune and Hennessey stainless steel exhaust system.
Company founder and CEO John Hennessey said: “The new 765LT is underrated from the factory. We tested it on our in-house dyno and it delivered about 765 HP – at the rear wheels. This means it’s producing closer to 865 bhp in bone stock form. “Upgrading the 765LT to 1000hp will drop the 0-60 mph time to just 2.1 seconds, which is just nuts.”
