The exclusive 1000bhp Hennessey Exorcist Camaro ZL1 gets an anniversary edition to celebrate 30 years of Hennessey.
Since its birth 30 years ago, Hennessey Performance Engineering has delivered on its promise of making fast cars faster, and its latest exploit in honour of that three-decade birthday is the Hennessey Exorcist Camaro ZL1 Anniversary Edition, which completes the 100 car production run of The Exorcist, a car revealed in 2017 with a goal of becoming the ultimate American muscle car, destroying the Dodge Demon along the way.
Let’s remind ourselves of The Exorcist. Under the bonnet is a 6.2-litre supercharged V8, that features a bigger supercharger, new cylinder heads, a more aggressive cam and more, which helped it to produce around 50% more power than it made from factory. Remember, the Camaro ZL1 left Chevrolet factories with 650hp, so it was no slouch. That power now resides at 1014hp with a whopping 883lb ft of torque. 0-60mph? 2.1 seconds, apparently (we think that’s optimistic…). Top speed? 217mph. The real test will be in-gear acceleration; for example, 100-200kph (62-124mph) to get a stronger gauge of acceleration. We’re willing to bet it’ll snap a 4 second 100-200kph time, which is mightily impressive.
So what do you get with the Hennessey Exorcist Camaro ZL1 Anniversary edition? Not a lot to be honest, it’s identical to the regular Exorcist Camaro bar the introduction of a numbered chassis plate.

The upgrades and Anniversary Edition Exorcist is priced at $135,000 (including the base Camaro ZL1) with the model benefitting from Hennessey’s two-year / 24,000 mile warranty.
