Fast Car are excited to announce a brand new display planned for TRAX this year called TRAX Legends, which celebrates the in best track day and race machinery.
Models from the ‘golden era’ of ‘80s saloon car racing such as the Peugeot 205, Golf GTI and Sierra Cosworth share paddock space with sports car heroes like the Lotus Elise and the Caterham 7.
Relive some ‘90s performance milestones in the form of greats like the Honda Integra Type R DC2 and the Subaru Impreza before pushing onto pastures new with the new school of track day machinery. The modern pretenders to the circuit crown such as the Ariel Atom, KTM X-Bow and Porsche’s Cayman GT4 can be found alongside their spiritual ancestors.
Topping the performance tree and representing the track day enthusiast with somewhat deeper pockets are some genuine super cars such as the 911 GT3 RS.
Mixed in between these will be some truly special and unique track cars built entirely for fun, sprint or Time Attack competition. Included in this is a spectacular 600+bhp Subaru Impreza with Nitrous injection as well as its nemesis the Mitsubishi Evo VIII.
In addition to this show-stopping new static display, the owners will be let loose on the circuit with their machines for some on track for an all-guns-blazing, fire-breathing sessions during the day. This is one display that will have you talking for a long time…
Trax, Britain’s biggest performance car show is back at Silverstone Circuit on September 25th, 2016, and tickets are selling fast – though there’s still time to take advantage of some fantastic early bird savings via the official website at TRAX.
