Sometimes monthly car meets in the South West of England can be rather boring. The standard schedule is find a badly light car park, fill it with car enthusiasts, then get a few mindless morons to come and do some burnouts. Then, the final act is the police closing the meet down and everyone going home pissed off. Not good.
However, this week saw a refreshing change. Someone organised a location with permission, organised a date and invited everyone (even the police!). Say hello to the Addicted To Race Car Meet by Car Crave.
Oh and did we mention the official location was at the famous Haynes Motor Museum? After a year long refurbishment the beautiful museum opened its car park up to the meet and even offered discounted entrance to the museum and the café for food and drink. Happy days.
And, the event was a roaring success! Police monitored the event and were welcomed in with no issues from anyone at all. In fact, it was a great evening with awesome cars from loads of different scenes.
This will definitely be one for the calendar, so check out the Facebook page and get yourself to the next one.
