In an almost mystical moment of clarity I realised, before I could start the Ford Fiesta Zetec S refresh by ripping her apart, I though I’d better get me an MOT first.
Now obviously there’s not much that makes a modified car owner’s arsehole pucker tighter than those particular three letters but, apart from the corroded brake pipe which me and Modest Matt replaced and a quick swap to stock rear clusters, I was pretty confident the little Ford would sail through. And she did.
With that expensive bit of paper sorted it was time to get onto the fun bit. I started by pulling out all the old audio, of which there was a lot.
As usual, got a little carried away with the spanners.
Pretty soon all the seats, trim and even the dash were sitting on the workshop floor, proper job like.
I’m faced with a dilemma now though, and that’s how far to take it, it’s not exactly gonna be an everyday driver. Decisions, decisions.
