The Fast Show hits Santa Pod
It’s been a damn long cold winter, but this weekend not only saw the return of the sun to the UK, but also saw the return of Santa Pod’s Fast Show. If you didn’t go, here’s what you missed…
Philip Egan’s Nissan Cube showed off it’s new look. Like it.
Massimo Boukas’ Seat Leon Cupra K1 showed off it’s Havair air-ride and 19×9-inch Bentley rims.
We’d rather see these two next to each other on the strip.
Mini on steelies looked super-fresh…
… as did it’s interior.
Ahh the whirligig beetle. A type of water beetle that usually swims on the surface of the water. Not sure why it has a car named after if though?
Haps Gill’s stanced Fiesta was looking great. Full feature in Fast Car issue 316 (on sale 03/04/12).
Now we’re guessing that’s not standard…
Cripes on a bike.
We think this may have split a few opinions…
We’ll have no Fix Or Repair Daily jokes here thankyou please…
Darron Augustus’ stanced Mk.6 Fiesta was rocking new coloured Schmidt TH Line centres. Looks sweet don’t you think?
Whose Carl?
Floored and flawless.
The famous Santa Pod strip was rammed all day!
Mmm… shiny.
What’s yellow, fast and dangerous? Nope it’s not a canary with a machine gun it’s this Fiat 126. What lies beneath? We wonder…
Top bombing.
R/C skillz yo!
“Errr… someones knicking your bonnet fella.”
A colour that so shouldn’t work. But does.
Cosworth powered Talbot Sunbeam weren’t shy.
This MR2 got us wet.
You can’t beat a white Supra. Fact.
My sister ate one of my Lego men once. I got him back, albeit a bit smelly.
One of our favourite bays of the day. Clean like fresh pants.
Tight look Merc. Yum!
A rather rude RX7.
Can you ever get bored of EK9s? We think not.
Errr… nope, we’ve no idea either.
As in the word of the mighty Rizzle Kicks: “Yeah yeah, let’s get down with the trumpets.” What ever that means?
Slammed EK Coupe on Rota GT3s attacked the asphalt.
Part two of our Fast Show coverage coming soon…
