Powerflex has announced an expansion of its range of highly regarded Handling Packs, with the Fiesta ST the latest car to be added to the already expansive range.
It’s fantastic news for owners of Ford’s mighty hot hatch, and perhaps the best way of going about sharpening its handling without breaking the bank or compromising its on-road abilities in any way.
You could make a strong case for the Mk7 Fiesta ST being among the last of the truly ‘old school’ hot hatches, certainly when compared to its recently unveiled successor. Powered by a turbocharged 1.6 engine sending its full 180bhp to the front wheels, the ST was lauded as the best small hot hatch available for the majority of its career.
Already a supremely capable car with suitably entertaining handling, the Fiesta ST can be made to handle that bit better by the introduction of key parts from the Powerflex range, all of which are included in the recently launched Handling Pack.
The complete list of products include bushings for the front wishbone, an adjustable caster correction busing for the rear of the front arm, a rear beam to chassis bush, and a pair of bushes (large and small) for the lower engine mount.
