Over the last few years, due to it’s sweet design, reasonable price, relatively lightweight build and multitude of sizes and fitments available, the six-spoke Grid from Rota Wheels has become one of the most popular wheels out there, ever.
In fact, it’s one of the few rims that has been a bona fide modding staple for both the VAG and Jap fans and also a common sight on drift circuits all over Europe.
Obviously the Grid has been on the market for a while now and, with this in mind, the boys have decided it’s due a refresh. Here’s the result, the new Grid 2.
Okay, so admittedly it’s been a mild facelift, giving the wheel a little more concave goodness but, with the classic lines of the original, you wouldn’t wanna go nuts and ruin them right?
We know it’s destined to be another hit, especially as the first offerings are designed to fit nicely on cars like the New Mini, Corolla and Civic EP3. Another legend in the making from Rota, and no mistake.
