If you like your cars sleek and clean, chances are you’ll already know who Cleaned UK are. If not… Cleaned UK was started in 2009, and has quickly become a large group of friends with a well-established forum and the well-followed Cleaned UK Facebook page. As well as club stands throughout the year at various shows, and regular meets, they’re an ever growing community with some great cars.
The meet started at 2pm at the Sixfields Stadium car park in Northampton. We got there a little after 2.30pm, and thanks to the torrential rain and almost-freezing temperatures (it even snowed on the way home) the turn out wasn’t vast. However, those who did turn up brought with them some high quality motors.
As cliché as it is, it was certainly quality over quantity. From a track-look S2K to aired out hatches, there was certainly variety. There were plenty of old Hondas and Dubs boasting some seriously static lows, clean and Audis showing some top class fitment.
What the meet lacked in numbers it more than made up for with the ever-high standards we’ve all come to expect from Cleaned UK. Plenty of cars ventured out without the safety of ‘winter wheels’ regardless of the awful weather conditions. It was as much a social event as it was a meet to look at awesome cars. Fingers crossed the next meet has some sun…
