The first Dirty Stancing Spring Meet took place in April. A little known club holding their initiation on the same day as a mighty Stanceworks get-together (one of the biggest names in the international tyre-tucking movement) it was bound to be a complete flop, right?
Nope, wrong! Not even Mystic Meg herself could have predicted just quite how well it would have turned out. With well over a hundred cars in attendance and a friendly, excitable atmosphere to boot, it was a considerable accomplishment for all those involved.
But would the follow up be as successful? Well with 300+ confirmed attendee’s on the Dirty Stancing Facebook page it seemed likely, but nobody was counting any chickens just yet as the morning saw an abundance of rain storms across the country.
However, it takes more than a bit of sky juice to dampen the spirits of the nation’s stance faithful, with even more cars turning out to lay claim to a large chunk of the not unsubstantial car park. And guess what? That big ol’ ball of fire even popped out to see what all the fuss was about.
Whether your taste buds tingled for the JDM, Euro, VeeDub, Ratty or Drift clientele, there really was something for everyone.
Although as expected a common theme flowed throughout, low down and dirty was definitely the order of the day. Lips were poking, tyres were stretching, dishes were gleaming, and air bags were dumped. Happy days indeed.
And here’s what went down…
