Ferrari and Bugatti in 130mph police chase

A man driving a Bugatti Veyron has been nicked after racing a Ferrari on the M27.

The pair of supercar street racers allegedly hit speeds of up to 130mph, as they darted through traffic in a daring high speed street race in broad day light.

Police in a BMW caught the French man driving the £850,000 Bugatti Veyron, but the driver in a black number plate-less Ferrari 599 GTB got away.

According to motorway users the supercar chase went on for over ten minutes, until the police intervened after a 140mph chase to catch them up.

The driver of the £270,000 Ferrari 599 GTB has yet to be caught, whilst the Bugatti driver has been let off with just three points and a £60 fine. The jammy bastid.

Luckily for the Veyron driver when they finally caught him he had slowed down to just under 100mph.

So he can do 130mph for ten minutes (20 miles?) but because he slowed down they can't do him.
In that case, if I get pulled over for speeding I'm going to use the defence that I'd stopped when they actually caught me!
Ditto on the Ferrari.....
